FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Check whether your destination is listed in the DESTINATIONS AND PRICES section of our website. Should you fail in finding it in the list, please send us a request by filling-in the price request form in the REQUEST PRICE section of our website.

2. In the homepage, please, specify in the online booking form your destination, the date and the time of beginning of your transfer.

3. In the detailed online booking form at the next step, please, fill in your destination address, your contact details, specify the number of passengers as well as any additional options you might need. In case you deem necessary to inform us of any other details related to your transfer, please, include them in the field for comments. 

4. Please, submit your booking and wait to receive our confirmation on the e-mail address specified by you in the online booking form. The confirmation of the booking which you will receive from us must be shown to our driver upon meeting him at the airport of Zurich.

After you submit the filled in online booking form, you will receive a confirmation email containing all the details of your transfer.

The price includes one-way travel to the specified destination, including one hour waiting at the airport of Zurich. In case you have booked service which takes morе than 24 hours, the price includes also daily allowance and accommodation for the driver.  

Additional costs that might be incurred are not included in the fixed price of transfer. These might be: changes in the destination/route, longer waiting time, additional fees for parking and roads, extra luggage, additional pick-ups or stops along the way, etc.

The transfer price might be increased in case of change in the booking details at a shorter than acceptable notice, especially when the changes concern the destination or the waiting time. 

 

All prices in the website are quoted per car. The price does not depend on the number of passengers within the car capacity but the maximum capacity of a car is specified for each class.

If you cannot find the desired destination in the list in "Destinations and Prices" section of our website, please fill in the price request form in "Request Price" section. We will do our best to calculate and let you know the price of your transfer within 24 hours.

The minimum time to book transfer is 48 hours in advance. 

You can however make an urgent booking in case the time until your arrival at the airport of Zurich is less than 48 hours. In this case we will consider your request and will inform you as soon as possible whether we will be able to provide the service.

Within 24 hours from receiving your request for price for specific destination we will calculate and submit to you by e-mail quotation for price. 

The payment for your transfer is made cash to your driver. Advance payment through the website is not required. 

As starting time for your transfer from the airport of Zurich we recommend that you specify the time of your flight arrival. Your driver will take care of meeting you at the airport.

Important note: in case of change of the time of arrival of your flight, please let us know as soon as possible in order to be able to inform your driver. 

We recommend payments to be made is the currency of booking (i.e. in Euro).

In case you need to change or cancel your booking, plese inform us as soon as possible by e-mail at raychevtrans@protonmail.ch or by phone +41 76 765 25 48. You might be charged for changing / canceling your booking. Our policy related to cancelling of bookings is available in the "Terms and Conditions" section of the website.

The price of your transfer includes one hour waiting after the specified pick-up time. In case there is longer delay of your flight arrival, please inform us by e-mail raychevtrans@protonmail.ch or by phone +41 76 765 25 48 as soon as you become aware of the delay. Please note that in case of longer than one hour waiting the driver may ask to pay extra for waiting.

Regardless of age, every child is considered a passenger, and you should take this into account when filling in the number of passengers when booking.

When filling in the details of booking, you can select the type of child seat you need, depending on the age of child. Child seats are not paid extra.

In Switzerland child seats are mandatory. Safety of children transportation is regulated by law and penalties are imposed in case of not using child seats. In case you do not book a child car seat, the driver has a right to refuse providing the transfer.

On our website you can find information about the maximum number of passengers and pieces of luggage for each car type. If you have doubts which type will be the most suitable for you, please, do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail raychevtrans@protonmail.ch or by telephone +41 76 765 25 48.

We guarantee to provide you a car of the specified type or of higher capacity. 

For standard luggage the sum of three dimensions (length, width, and height) does not exceed 158 cm. Any bigger luggage can be considered non-standard.

In case you have non-standard luggage (such as skis, snowboards, bikes, prams, wheelchairs, big suitcases, golf clubs etc.), please, consult with us by e-mail at raychevtrans@protonmail.ch or by phone +41 76 765 25 48.

As soon as you become aware of the fact that your flight is delayed, please inform us by e-mail at raychevtrans@protonmail.ch or by phone +41 76 765 25 48.

In case you need to make a long stop or deviate from the planned route, you can discuss the price of stop or deviation from the route with the driver before starting. The confirmation of your booking that has been sent to your e-mail states the fixed price of your transfer to the specified destination without extra stops or detours.

Transportation of animals is regulated by the legislation. Any animal should be transported in a portable carrier and have medical certificates and other documents according to the legislation of the country visited. In case of a law violation, your driver has a right to refuse to provide the transfer. We may require compensation for any damage of the vehicle during the trip.

When meeting you at the airport, the driver will be holding a sign with your names written on it. The driver will meet you at the exit of arrivals area of the airport after you have passed passport control and have received your luggage. 

A day before the transfer, we will send the phone number of your driver to your email. He will have your phone number too. Please, make sure to keep your phone device switched on. 

Please, call or send an SMS to your driver in case your flight is delayed for more than half an hour or postponed, as well as in case processing of yor luggage takes more time than expected.

For each transfer we do our best to provide driver who speaks the language of the passengers or English language at minimum. However we cannot guarantee that the driver speaks the particular language. The driver has the whole information concerning your transfer which helps reducing the communication on improtant issues and overcome the language barrier.

In case you cannot find your driver, please once again check the names on the signs of people waiting - it is possible that you have not seen your driver holding the sign. Please, wait for 15 minutes and try to contact the driver - he might have been stuck in a traffic jam on his way to the airport. 

In case the driver do not get in touch within 30 minutes past the specified pick-up time, please, find the information desk and book a taxi from the airport to your destination. In case our driver does not meet you, we will refund your payment.
